The IEP Group has assisted numerous insurance professionals on multiple residential projects to determine the presence or lack of soot, ash and char, to help determine locations of affected area, determine the concentrations of smoke related VOC’s. Our services help the insurance professional determine the extent of cleaning that must occur following a fire. One project reportedly suffered contamination from an adjacent house fire. Another project, the insured reported breathing and health concerns while at his home following the fire. And yet others simply needed further evaluation on the breadth of cleaning necessary in various locations within the home or business.
