Asbestos – Power Plant
Decommissioning of a coal fire power plant. The consultants at the IEP Group performed environmental and area monitoring during a multi-year abatement of the Cane Run Power plant. Beginning in 2017 and concluding in 2019, The IEP Group performed daily monitoring 6 days a week analyzing PCM samples on site to determine the f/cc concentration of asbestos fibers and to collect bulk samples of suspect materials as they were discovered over the duration of the project. The professional asbestos consultants at the IEP Group helped maintain a safe environment and result in a successful decommissioning and demolition of this industrial facility.
